Sweetener and calorie difference
The main distinction between these two drink mixes is the sweetener. Diet Dr. Pete uses zero-calorie sweeteners to deliver a bold, refreshing taste without sugar or calories. Original Dr. Pete contains sugar, giving it a more traditional soda sweetness that many people expect from a classic cola alternative.
Flavor profile and usage
Both mixes are designed to be added to sparkling water after carbonation. The Diet version aims to replicate the familiar diet cola taste, while the original offers a fuller, sweeter profile. If you are used to diet sodas, the Diet Dr. Pete will feel more natural. If you usually drink regular soda, the original Dr. Pete will be more satisfying.
