I was a bit skeptical about the base staying put, but it's actually rock solid and the stainless steel gives it a really nice weight. Being able to toss the whole thing in the dishwasher after a party is a huge time-saver, and the 1-liter size means fewer refills.

The stainless steel accents make this look way nicer on my dinner table than my old plastic bottles, and guests actually compliment it. The removable base is a small thing but it makes filling and cleaning so much easier, and it's held up fine in the dishwasher.
